keiji drysdale

Keiji is a multi-hyphenate visual artist and technologist. He is drawn to the meeting place of technology and immersive visual art. With a background in brain imaging, Keiji explores the fusion of street art, street style, and classical themes in analog photography.

Keiji creates work that reflects the moment we find ourselves in, his childhood growing up in New York City, and working with artists from around the world.

Born and raised in New York City, Keiji's father is a photographer and professor of photography at NYU. The experience of growing up around iconic New York photographers informs his artwork in a multitude of ways.

As a part of Soho Renaissance factory, Keiji played an instrumental role in some of the first plywood art that appeared in the Soho during the summer of 2020.

In fact, he was one of the first artists to paint plywood panels at the beginning of June, 2020. Drawing on both his Japanese and Scottish heritage, Keiji brings a diverse skill set and fascinating background as a native New Yorker, and an instrumental role in the protest art movement in New York City.

He is also passionate about teaching and tutoring youth which manifests time spent with Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF).
